Anonymized HRCT and FVC data will be hosted on the Kaggle data science platform and Kaggle users (“Kaggle investigators”) will compete to develop machine learning algorithms which solve the research objective.
A monetary prize will be offered to the Kaggle investigator(s) who devise the highest performing algorithm.
Objective: To predict forced vital capacity (FVC) at a 1 year in a patient with IPF based in the patients’ baseline HRCT scan and contemporaneous FVC measurement.
Minimum of 500 subjects with a multidisciplinary diagnosis of IPF or other fibrosing ILD with a progressive phenotype. Subjects will be identified from OSIC’s repository.
